Candlewood Soccer Academy (CSA) is a premier and developmental club sponsored by SCNM.  CSA has several developmental programs and premier level teams.  The mission of CSA is to provide a high level of training, competition at an affordable price within a short driving distance.  These programs exist for the committed and skilled players looking to participate on highly competitive teams made up of players irrespective of the players’ town.  CSA Starts as early as U8 with U8 Academy with supplemental, high level training sessions once per week. Pre-Premier Developmental programs continue from U9-U11 and consist of a schedule of “Friendly” games usually throughout the Northwest Connecticut in addition to one training session per week.  Premier developmental programs are supplemental and complimentary to town travel programs. Premier Teams train 2-3 times per week and games are assigned throughout the State.  In addition, Premier Teams participate in Open Cup Competition as well as two to four tournaments per year anywhere in the Northeast region.  Typically, Premier Teams also continue to play and practice throughout the winter and summer.  Coaching staff for Premier teams consists of licensed qualified soccer coaches.
