SCNM In-House divisions are designed to introduce young players to the game of soccer and begin to develop the technical skills.  Teams participate in a training sessions on Saturdays designed by the SCNM coaching staff. Parent coaches are trained to deliver the program and provided with written lesson plans for each season. The Saturday skill session is followed by a competition of small-sided games which focus on the skills learned that day. Time is split evenly between the skill sessions and the small-sided games.  During the course of the season, the small-sided competition progresses from a 3-on-3 format to a 5-on-5 format.  The emphasis at this age is to develop the technical skills of the young player and ensure that they receive many, many touches on the ball.

·       Pre-K program or U5 (Under 5) is for Pre-Kindergarten children aged 4 or younger.  SCNM allows enrollment for children who turn 4 during the current school year. Boys and girls play on the same teams.

·       U6 (Under 6) program is for kindergarten aged children. Boys and girls play on the same teams.  Teams also practice one evening during the week.

·       U8 (Under 8) program is for first and second graders.  At U8 the children split into girls and boys leagues. Teams practice one evening during the week.
